Full Bloom

Love ur Look dress

I have yet to fully recover from the weekend.  I spent those days vending at RuPaul's DragCon and I'm exhausted!  I had such a wonderful time and met so many awesome people, but being "on" the entire time can really drain a person.  Luckily, yesterday was my day to rest and I spent it well.  In case you were wondering, that meant I didn't leave the couch and caught up on Mad Men.  I can't believe it's over!  I may have cried just a couple of times...

Love ur Look is designed by the wonderfully sweet Ronke Fashola.  Not only is her line beautiful and flattering, her collection is ethically made as well.  As someone who has decided to become more conscious about my purchases, this really resonated with me.  Her clothing is made in India but within UK ethical working standards.  There are strict regulations on age and freely chosen employment, a safe working environment, and humane working hours.  Ronke also donates profits to an animal hospital in India, so basically she's an angel!  To read more about how her line is produced, click HERE.

The construction of this dress is perfect.  It's actually a wrap dress, so no need to fumble in and out of it while trying to preserve your hair and makeup.  It's made of a nice heavy cotton and the buttons on the waistline are a fun touch.  Also, there are pockets!  This is going to be a great dress for summer.  Love ur Look has a great collection of summery prints, I'm already eying this tropical number.  It's calling my name!  From now until May 1st use the code KV6PKW for a discount on your purchase!
