Dotted Gold

Heart of Haute top and skirt 017

Who knew black and gold was a match made in heaven?  This Heart of Haute ensemble has been a go-to outfit lately.  I don't usually venture outside of a basic circle skirt (or a skirt at all) but I really love the fit of this princess seamed beauty.  It hugs the right areas but flares out perfectly.  These pictures truly do it no justice!

Hair Flower- NicCoCo Creations
Necklace- UrbanOG

I've been wearing a lot of hair flowers lately, mostly because I've been trying (and failing) to get these sponge rollers down and need a visual distraction.  My favorite hair flowers are made by Nicolle of NicCoCo Creations.  She hand makes every one and I swear they're the only ones that stay on my head.  I love how she makes them conform to the head but come large and extravagant.  I prefer my hair accessories to look like they're taking over my head, but you know, in a super pretty manner.  I also had the honor of working with her at the Holiday in the Park event at Unique Vintage last month and she's so sweet and ridiculously funny.  How can you not support a business with such a wonderful boss lady?

  7. That skirt looks fantastic on you! I love metallics this time of the year. Well, anytime of the year, really, but they're most fun around Christmas. The shape of this skirt is great, it's very flattering.

  9. Ooo i wasn't aware of a princess seam, but it's absolutely gorgeous! It does give kind of a princess silhouette around the hips- it'd be really hard for me not to strut around in that like a flock of singing birds were trailing behind me, haha! And love the color combo- most definitely festive :)
