Pretty Daisy

daisy2

Yes, it's officially weather for matching separates!  I've wanted a cute matching crop top/skirt for awhile (thanks to Jamie) but couldn't find anything to my liking.  I happened to pop into a Target recently and found this cute number!  No joke, Target has really stepped up their game in the women's department.  Not only did they have other patterns in this style, they had tons of cute crop tops and printed dresses.  I had to walk away pretty quickly because I didn't want to do something I'd regret.  But I am a little excited to shop there in the future.  You know, when I have the extra money.

Yesterday we had plantation shutters installed in some of our windows.  It's something I've always wanted for the home but they were a little on the pricey side.  Thanks to my husband's research, he found someone who would do them for a great price.  It's funny how something so small can make me so happy.  I'll be sure to post some pictures on Instagram for those who are interested :).

This coming weekend is the first "appointment free" weekend in over a month!  I'm doing my best to keep it that way so Kevin, Bianca, and I can lounge around in our pajamas all day.  Even when B and I are home during the week, I put on makeup, do my hair, and get dressed everyday.  It's my way of keeping the independent part of me still alive.  But this weekend I won't be worried about any of that!

  1. Oh my goodness! That is the cutest thing ever! I love it and will now have to figure out getting to Billings (where the nearest Target is...about 100 some miles) to look at their selection....

  4. This is so cute! They must not have had that set yet the last time I was at Target :( They had crop tops with matching pencil skirts, but I much prefer the shape of a full skirt like yours! So adorable.
