Pink Blush

pinkblush3

I've mentioned it a few times before but throughout my pregnancy I've had issues with buying actual maternity clothes.  For the most part I just sized up at my normal shopping grounds and made what I could work.  The thing is, it's hard to justify buying clothing that you'll only use for a few months.  It's usually more expensive and almost always not really my style.  I was lucky enough to be contacted by Pink Blush Maternity, an online store that not only has super cute maternity clothing but pieces you can work into your post maternity wardrobe.

This dress has been a lifesaver these last couple of weeks!  The material is light and stretchy so it accommodates to my growing belly.  I also love how the belt is positioned higher up.  I haven't been able to wear a dress with a natural waist and a belt in months!  Honestly, I think the best part is the top.  It's perfect for breastfeeding when my little girl is here.  I've been purposely looking for lower necklines for this exact reason, I'm glad that Pink Blush has already thought of that :)  Make sure to click HERE for $10 coupon on your next order!

This Saturday is my husband's work Christmas party.  I'll be dressed up in a long dress and heels (oh dear) and hoping I'll be able to make it throughout the night.  Being on baby watch is a little nerve wracking so I've been somewhat of a hermit lately.  All I want to do is stay home and make sure she stays in place.  Wish me luck this weekend, I hope I'll be able to forget about being pregnant for a few hours and enjoy myself!

Good for you for not having bought a ton of maternity wear and making your own wardrobe work, that's super impressive.

  5. That dress is gooorgeous on you! The color is great, and the shape is fantastic. You look beautiful. Also, confession: I totally used to buy clothes from the maternity section of Target... they hide my tummy and emphasize the girls, which is always a good thing, hehe. But I'm glad you'll be able to get use out of this dress after the little one is here!!

  15. That's so wonderful that you were able to find a company with maternity clothes you actually like! I can definitely see why this dress would be a lifesaver; the color is gorgeous and it looks so comfy!

Hope maternity leave is going well! I would still LOVE to meet up while I'm home, but I'm guessing that might be a little tough while on baby watch? ;)

Oh, and I still have that Ruche dress with the low neckline if you decide you want it!
